Velocity 83 smartphone which has been revealed in the CTIA 2008 has recently passed the FCC tests and looking forward to its release in the United States. The Velocity 83 supports quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900MHz and features a 2.8 inch touchscreen display, Odyssey user interface, built-in GPS, Wi-Fi connectivity, two microSD card slots and a 2 Mega Pixel camera and runs on Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS. One of the cards is used for storage purpose and the other is used to store maps for the GPS navigation software. The Velocity 83 Smartphone is to be released in November. The price will be around $500.
