An image and a few details have emerged on the BlackBerry 9300, an as yet unannounced 3G smartphone coming from RIM. Not surprisingly, this device will apparently have a great deal in common with other recent BlackBerries. For example, it is supposed to have a larger, higher-resolution screen than the BlackBerry Curve 8900, which has a 480-by-360-pixel display. Similarly, the 9300 is expected to have a faster processor than the 8900, but it's not clear if it will be as fast as the BlackBerry Bold's 624 MHz processor. Like the Bold, the 9300 will sport quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSDPA. The source can't confirm Wi-Fi, but says it is very likely. Bluetooth is essentially a given.
