Skype is going to all native on the iPhone. The iPhone already — apps like Fring and Truphone are there to help — but it’s kinda expected to see the popular VoIP IM client release its own app for the platform, just like they did for Windows Mobile and now Android. According to Denver Post, Skype’s COO Scott Durschlag said their iPhone app is still under development, with engineers working on cutting the amount of power it consumes. He also added that the iPhone app is “not far behind” the newly released Skype application for the Android platform.
