An update is available for the Amazon Kindle. Which is an app that is more so than the actual Kindle .
The update which brings the version to 1.1 added something that is an option to choose from different background and text colors. Users can choose to keep the original black text and white background or opt for the little easier on the eye color schemes of either a white text with a black background or a grey text with a sephia background.
Additionally, the Kindle app now has support for reading in landscape mode as well as the ability to turn pages by tapping either side of the screen. As it has been, the Kindle app for the iPhone remains a free download.
